Cool project idea!

http://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/1852960870.html
1975 GMC, 3/4 Ton, CUSTOM BUILT, EXTENDED CAB TRUCK. This body style was NOT available from GM 1n 1975. This is an UNFINISHED PROJECT. SBC 350 with heads off, TH350 trani, 2 WD. I drove this truck onto my trailer, brought it home, and started the body conversion using a shortened 1981 Chevy crew cab body. The body sections are tack welded together. This project includes the crew cab rear doors, one pair of Suburban rear doors to make a barn door tailgate as well as extra stock tailgates, Suburban gas tank (installed between the frame rails), Chevy Blazer front sheet metal with inside hood release (not on truck), Fleetside bed (apart and shortening started), windshield and extra sheet metal. This truck does not run, it will need to be moved with a trailer

Re: Cool project idea!

Are you trying to sell this? When reading it I thought you were just telling us about the "project", but then at the end you say it doesn't run and will need to be moved with a trailer like your wanting to sell it and just informing any "would be" buyers that it does not run.

Re: Cool project idea!

cool idea, but why not just go and find an ext cab already built? IMO I would rather put some money up front and get something already done, and done right.

Thanks for your concern and "trying" to do the right thing. It would have been better if you posted the link rather than copying the text. Now it "looks" like you posted an ad rather than a C/L link...

A tired warrior of the 1980s in a world of low profile tires, front wheel drive, and plastic bumpers, where people stay in their houses until snowplows move the offending substance from their paths, too helpless to travel without AAA and chains and salt, clearing their windows with longhandled brushes while gently stepping around in the snow trying to stay nice and dry.
