Re: Transmission cross member
What do you mean on? on my caprice the crossmember went right behind the collector so I couldn't add exhaust. I put on a double hump crossmember from g-force.

Re: Transmission cross member
I'm trying to find the part number for you. I can't seem to find the receipt, which i have every receipt for the last 20 years on this truck... What i did was measured inside to inside on the frame, then found that piece on transdapt website. Yes, the ends i welded them on. I bolted the crossmember to the trans, then adjusted the ends, marked them, tacked them in place, then welded them up and shot them with some primer and black paint. Make sure you have the trans set where the original crossmember held it.. I ordered it thru summit racing or jeggs , they don't show them in their catalog..
