what transmission can I use?
I have a 4wd '83 with a 305 and a 3 speed tranny w/ low gear. I'm gearing up to replace the engine with a 383. I'm wondering if there is a 5 speed transmission that I cant bolt right up between my engine and transfer case that will require minimal modification. I'm not worried about fabbing anything, I just dont want the truck to be down long. Thanks for the help guys!!!
