My C-10 days are done
Well i got rid of the 84 bout 2 weeks ago. I traded it for a 97 ecx. cab short bed Z71, a set of 22'' wheels with tires and $1000 cash. The Z71 even has a cowl hood on it already. My brother in law is the rightful owner now. He loved that truck since the day I got it. I just couldnt fix up the 84 k10 and 84c10 the way i wanted so the c10 had to go. I also just couldnt get myself into the 2wd anymore. All i thought about was the 4x4. Im still in the square bodies craze though. I WILL represent the squares with an awesome 4x4. I will keep ya'll posted with pics of my soon to be awesome K10.

Say it aint so! I always liked the 2wd truck you had. Now get to work on the 4x4.

Re: My C-10 days are done
Sorry to hear you sold it, but at least it's still in the family. Sometimes that can be a good thing or a bad thing.
Make sure and post up some pics of the 97. |

Re: My C-10 days are done
I had a 97 Siverado myself that was stolen several years back.
Be prepared to start replacing inside (and one outside) door handles quite often (I went threw a few myself) and compared to the C10 door handles that NEVER break. The 97 handles are mostly plastic as you will see. Other than that (and crappy 4l60e tranny that bit the dust) the vortec motors are great. Last edited by HOGDADDY; 07-30-2010 at 02:00 PM. |
