Driveline Length - Lift Change

I just bought a ccsb truck with an 8" suspension lift that I am not crazy about (+3" body) to fit 38" tires. I would like to take it down to 4" or so. Does this situation typically need a modified driveline?
Thanks!

Re: Driveline Length - Lift Change

To run a 4" susp lift you can run stock drive shafts front and rear. But because you have custom rig CCSB your rear shaft may be different

Could you take some pics of this before you take the lift off?? I'm gonna be running 40s, might have to go with at least 8" lift, want to see what it's gonna look like.

Re: Driveline Length - Lift Change

I think it's going to be waaay to tall for my liking. I think I'll go with 2.5" - 4" max. The wheels are 18x12 Weld Cheyenne and the tires are Toyo M/T 38x15.5. I think I'd like to end up somewhere around 33" for tires with 18" rims.

I like these Eagle 079. Anyone know anything about Nitto tires?
