I'm in Austin, I think there's one in Albert Lea. Rochester sounds central to me so far.

Re: MN car/truck club?
For all you SE guys. Stewartville has a car show every friday night at the bowling alley. It is put on by the Stewie Cruizers car club. Starting to see a lot more of our trucks there lately. There is also a show at the Eagles club in Rochester on wednesday nights.

Re: MN car/truck club?
Hey everybody! It's slow here at work and I just stumbled across this thread. Any chance of reviving this idea of a truck club for 67-72 owners? I'd love to find fellow gear-heads that own these trucks and get some kind of meet ups going. I'm struggling through a rear brake drum job on my '72 C20 and it's making me crazy! If anyone is still interested in a gig like this, let's see what we can do. Feel free to DM me and offer ideas, suggestions, and the like. Thanks!

Re: MN car/truck club?
Hmmm.. Maybe if you guys figure out a meet up, it will give me motivation to finally get my truck back on the road. (I'm just across the I-94 bridge in Wisconsin)

Re: MN car/truck club?
Hey a fellow North Dakotan! I'm originally from Grand Forks. I wonder if there are enough people in the FM area that would be interested in something like this. I've been meaning to get the ol beast back up to Grand Forks one of these days.

Re: MN car/truck club?
It might be all for not, but I'm making notes on where everyone is located and just mapping it out to see if finding a central location will be easy for all of us. I'd really like to see something come of this kinda thing. I know it'll take some time and planning as I've got two kids and a wife, bills, and yadda yadda, but hopefully we can make something work if everyone is interested.
How do those that have trucks feel about winter driving with them? I don't take my truck out in the winter usually as the tires aren't that great and the heater hasn't worked in years. Not to mention, I don't want any more salt on this already rusty under body. What's the general opinion of winter meetups if we get something going?

Re: MN car/truck club?
St. Louis Park, MN signing in!
I think from a logistical standpoint... Minneapolis area would naturally be the most central and likely a high percentage of the people would be close. |
