LQ9 w/ Z06 Cam into 2000 S10
Started with a 2000 S10 with a blown 2.2L. Bought the CURRENT PERFORMANCE kit as I want to keep the fuel injection and factory gauges. Bought a LQ9 6.0L engine/tranny and transfercase. A LITTLE cutting and welding and the motor and tranny is now in for the 2nd last time...........I was told to replace the rubber motor mounts as the 6L will tear them apart in short order.............soooooo pull the motor 1 last time!! I call this little project..............."WHAT NOW!!" lol

I hope you're upgrading the brakes too! What an awesome project.

transfer case? Are you just going to use the output or are you planning on doing a AWD conversion or something?
Are you using the edelbrock intake or truck intake? Either way it should be a fun ride. |
