Newbie from where hell meets the surface
Just got a bastard child 82 gmc 2wd short box. Finally something i can fix without a computer. fule injection? whats that. abs? automatic beer switch?
dont no dont care, dont have to. Happy to finally be here, better late than never. |

Thanks man, already logged a couple thousand miles and only replaced a small coolant hose with a jack kinfe and a flat head on the side of the rd in 5 minutes. that was in the first hr of buying it. slapped in a free cd player and some rokford foskates behind my bench for 20 bucks and now my windows are a rattle'n

Looks good..
Looks like someone took some time to "chrome" the headlight bezels and some of the grille. From the factory the chrome was under the silver paint, just takes some elbow grease and steel wool to take the silver paint off and show the chrome. I started to do this on my 82 Chevy as well. The grille is (should) be the same way.

thanks folks, the interior is shot but the body is mint. up here in Vt we will sit on milk crates and run em with out speedo's as long as we dont have to fix rust. snagged a pair of 15" cragar ss's off craigslist for 150 bucks. they are kinda beat but i have wanted a pair since i was 15. whoa that was 19 years ago. pictures will be up tomorrow. and yes im runnin her with out a speedo or dash lights, but i am sittin on a bench with a bed sheet over it. wired up the stereo though. he he ps piks with ss's up tomorrow.
