Re: Lowering Shackles for Rear Leaf Springs
I did have the 2" drop shackles, but they kept hitting the bedwood when I hit a bump, and I did not want to split my new bed wood, so I took them off.....

Re: Lowering Shackles for Rear Leaf Springs
I would give them a try. They are not going to lower much at all if you choose the 2" setting

Re: Lowering Shackles for Rear Leaf Springs
There are certain applications where you have to notch a bed brace. Beyond that, they should clear.

Re: Lowering Shackles for Rear Leaf Springs
It lowered mine to where it looked nice....I would have like to have kept them.....I just did not want to split the bed wood....
If you can find the 1 1/2" shackles, that might work......I just hate to spend 400 bucks on a mono drop leaf.....I will probably just do a over/under axle swap with the leafs....

Re: Lowering Shackles for Rear Leaf Springs
I had the 2" shackles that I cut down to more like 1 to 1-1/2". I did have to notch the cross sill for it to clear.
