Dana 44-1 id
Just picked this up with some other parts and was wondering what it could of possibly come out of. 10 bolt 4.75 bolt pattern 58" drum to drum leaf brackets 40" in between steel plug 44-1 printed bottom right a tag with 45 over 11 - 4.10 ratio I'm guessing a chevy malibu/ monte carlo? Jeep maybe? Any help?

Re: Dana 44-1 id
That's a DANA 44 axle, so it wasn't under a Malibu or Monte Carlo. Jeep would by 5-5 1/2"
The 4 3/4" bolt pattern suggests GM car, but that doesn't seem right? Are you sure about the bolt circle measurement? I would bet that it is really 5" and that would open up more opportunities.

Re: Dana 44-1 id
Looks like they used the dana 44 on the jeep cj willy from 1948 to 1969. Thanks for taking a look.
