YA THOSE ARE SOME NICE MIRRORS BUT I WOULD NEVER SPEND THAT MUCH ON MIRRORS. I AGREE IT IS ALOT MORE CUSTOM HAVING NO MIRRORS BUT MY DAD WOULD RATHER ME HAVE ONE MIRROR ON DRIVER SIDE.

I wouldn't go without mirrors if you plan to drive it. If you want custom and inexpensive, try walking through a junkyard and look at the different types of mirrors on different cars, trucks etc. to find a type that you could adapt to your truck.

It can get you a ticket in OK if you don't have at least one outside mirror.

Personally, I like the stock small chrome mirrors that came on the early(73-82) trucks. I ordered 2 repro's from LMC($29.95ea) and think their perfect!

Guys I ran a search and couldn't find anything on the mirrors im talking about. Anyone know anything about them. They look like the 90's chevy truck mirrors except they came on late 80's subs and I think maybe even trucks. They are supposed to bolt right up. They are electric too. Anyone remember them?

Eddie, I just posted a thread about them in this forum a couple weeks ago. There was a guy on e-bay that had the complete setup for sale...everyone b*tched they were too expensive.

Do a search, it should come up.

I ran another search. Still couldn't find it. I checked out tons of links with no luck. I hate when I search for something I know is there, but I can't find it. Jeff are you sure you started the thread? Maybe you will have better luck finding the thread ?

Thanks Jeff.
Anyone have a picture of those on a truck from further away? Anyone know what a dealer would charge for them? Can they be bought without power? or atleast without the components?

no outside mirrors required in oklahoma. As long as you have a rear view mirror.

accually i read somewhere online about oklahoma laws that you only have to have outside mirrors if your side and back tint is dark enough.

though i do not care!

5% on the back
and
10% on the sides!

ok.....you dont have to have an outside mirror at all in Oklahoma just a rear view... My good family friend is the Captain of the Ok highway Patrol. Straight from him...trust me I asked when I bought the truck.
As far as window tint I thought the rule was eliminated it wasnt....anything darker than 35% they can make you strip it off on the spot. but most wont.
