Picked up another 79 LWB

I got this the other day, I traded for a .45 pistol. Truck runs beyond great but the body is toast. He gave me a pile of reciepts totalling over $8000 in the past 10 years including a new GM crate 350 and new TH350 trans. Everything else in the drivetrain has been replaced all the way to the tires. All I had to do was replace the trans pan gasket and valve cover gaskets. I ended up putting those ugly taillights on because one was broken and I threw the clean bumper on because the other one was bent, and ugly. Im turning this into my DD and slowing down on my other 79 project. Heres the pics.
Picking it up.

got it home.

Edelbrock intake manifold and 650 elec choke carb.

no A/C makes this thing a sauna down here in MS

Ugly taillights, but I had to run something other than broken ones.

New bumber, Ill be switching out that grill to one with smaller bars.

Sounds like a good deal. I really like the blue color.

Re: Picked up another 79 LWB

Yea it wasnt too bad of a deal, the gun I traded was worth about $650 and I drove the truck home so I think I made out decent. I dont know if im too find of that color, its a bright blue metallic. I dont the attentionit gets haha, if I end up doing ay body work the whole truck will go flat black. Or I can trade out for the completely rust free body from my other 79, I wont be needing that any time soon.
