Post Tailgate Trim

I have a 1973 Chev Cheyenne Camper Special.
What trim and letters did the tail gate have?

Pop,

I think it there was any special tailgate trim. I think it was only the "Chevrolet" letters across it. I camper special might have had a special fender logo though. Order a catalog from all these people. www.yearone.com www.cheyennepickup.com www.lmctruck.com
I'll look through my catalogues and see if I find anything.

From what I remember, the camper specials had the insignia on the door post trim that wraps around the cab, the front fenders, and the tailgate had one on the passenger side.

there were two different Alum. trims in the early years .a 'full' trim piece [wood grain then]and one[brushed alum.] that just fit inside the recess about 4" wide. i dont believe there were any special badging on the tailgate just the fender and pillar. too long ago. no 73's left around me . DAVE
