Re: 86 3500 parts

I am interested in the hydro boost unit but have some questions. I am converting a 79 burb from a 1/2 to 3/4 and want to put a hydro unit on it. Not to familiar with the 73/87 trucks as i am with 72 and older. Will this unit bolt up to a 78 firewall. I know about hose routing etc so that isn't a problem.

If this will bolt up to a 78 firewall I want to buy it. I am leaving for a couple of days and will be back Wednesday night. If someone else wants it , no problem , if not i will check back then.

Thanks,
Steve

Re: 86 3500 parts

I'm interested. Can we confirmthe u joint size at the differential? My dana 60 takes a ujoint 3 3/8 wide with 1 1/4 inch caps. I believe the driveshaft I NEED is about 4 1/4 inches in diameter. ?? Is yours 2 or 4 wheel drive? I will consider either. My truck is 4x4 but what I really need is a 4x4 shaft or just the end cut off a 2wd and I would weld it to mine, to save some $ on shipping. Thanks

John

I'm also interested in the air bags.
What size are they?
Are they helper bags with brackets?
