Odd lighting issues...

Heres an odd one.. the other day I noticed when I turn the key on on my 65 c10 the rear signal lights both flash constantly even when the trucks running. I have no emergency flashers on the truck. When I hit the brake they stop flashing and light solid. The front signals work ok. Also at the same time it appears I lost my low beam headlights as well. I have high beams just won't switch down to low the lights go out. Think it could be two separate issues? The marker lights work ok without the key on and brakes but as soon as I turn it on the rear tail lights flash away.. hmm..low beams do not come on at all...

Re: Odd lighting issues...

sound like a bad ground somewhere, make sure each light is grounded to the body and the body grounded to the frame and the frame grounded to the engine block. my truck used to do all sorts of funny stuff like that until I made sure each light was properly grounded and check all connections.
