1965 C10 Factory Paint

I am restoring a 65 LWB Fleetside C10 and I would like to re paint it using the same original 2 tone beige/white color scheme. Does anyone have any pictures of a nice example? Or does someone have the paint codes for the same year interior and exterior. Thanks for any help

There should be a tag on the firewall with the paint code on it. Most paint suppliers should have access to code for the mix. If not ask for client services at a paint manufacturer they'll be able to give you the recipe. I took the cowl section to the paint store and they scanned the color, then made me a gallon.

From the 1963 Chevrolet Truck Data Book.

Tag on firewall? Really, can you tell me where to look for that? I have not seen anything like that on my truck and it is all original (cept for the suspension and seat and bed) well- pretty original I mean.

Re: 1965 C10 Factory Paint

The beige color is know as Fawn in 1965 ( same as avatar photo ). This color is similar to the 1962-1963 Desert Beige. These are rarer colors than the typical red, white, light green and light blue. It is even more rarer to see it with a tutone white top. Any good auto paint dealer should have the formula for 1965 Fawn, which is still available. The interior "metalic fawn" (completely different color than Fawn exterior) is available for Jim Carter Truck parts.
