I have seen on some 60's suburbans body side chrome...is this factory or added from something else? My 65 is plain.

It's a factory item, and comes with the "Custom" package, as the molding indicates. This package would include chrome bumpers, windshield molding, the side molding, of course, and I believe the deluxe steering wheel with the chrome ring was part of the package.
