Running Board Color?
I have a 1950 3/4 ton PU. When it was restored by the previous owner, the running boards were painted red to match the body. My understanding is that the running boards were factory painted black. I am planning on having them repainted and wonder if it was a flat or gloss black?

It should be in between flat and gloss. It had a shine but not like an enamel or a clear
