Cab dimensions
I'm out of town working and found a cab 5hrs from where I'm working, trying to find out the length and width of a 68 cab, trying to see if it will fit in the box of my F250 so I could skip the 4hr drive home and save sometime and money, help would be much appreciated, thanks

Re: Cab dimensions
Not sure if it helps but. I've seen folks use carpet strips and two to three 2X4's across the bed and haul a fleet bed upside down on top of their bed with two straps. I'd think something similar with two 4X4's could be done with a cab.

Re: Cab dimensions
I have seen someone put one in a new body style chevy shortbed. Not sure how much different the bed sizes are though.
But the question is how are you planning to get it in and out with your 8 inch lift and 38 in tires? |

Re: Cab dimensions
thanks, will do some measuring, as for the lift, would be tricky but I have 2 90ton over head cranes at work to set it on my trailer with if it worx out when I get back home, may need the trailer anyway, with my boxliner and everything it may not work

Re: Cab dimensions
I believe that it will fit if you turn it sideways as shown in the picture if the Ford bed is the same width as our trucks.
