Need help, truck sits a little higher on one side
I took some measurements on the outside of the truck to try and find out why my truck sits higher on the d.side. All the measurement were taken at the center of the wheelwell.
D.Side rear-26 3/8" P.Side Rear-27 3/8" D.Side Front- 28 3/8" P.side Rear- 28 3/8" Where else should I take measurements? I really want to figure this out bc I hate the way it sits right now.

Mine sits 1" higher on the passenger side, both front and rear. I just live with it.

Just a guess but check rad support & cab mount bushings.

Mine sat for 10 years with flat tires and seems to have altered my ride height, (leaf springs). New springs should fix it you would think.

Re: Need help, truck sits a little higher on one side
I figured it was just a big boy who owned mine before.
Funny thing is though, we totally rebuilt my front end, new HD springs and everything. But still measures almost exactly 1" higher on the right. I was sorta worried but since the rear measures out the same way, figured it just had a lean built in to it. Mine does have new bushings on the core support, but we have not done the cab bushings yet.

Re: Need help, truck sits a little higher on one side
I have owned 73, 76, and 83 C20 longbed regular cabs - all had a slight lean to the right or left, when looking at the top edge of the box bulkhead relative to the rear window/window molding. Many things can cause this (squashed cab mounts, springs, front end parts, etc. - but all squares I have seen have some amount of lean. If all parts are serviceable, then I don't let it concern me.

Re: Need help, truck sits a little higher on one side
yeah mine does the same, but i guess m,y previous owner had a really fat wife (passenger) since mine leans about a inch and a half lower on the right. i thought id "fix" it when i lowered itbyt cutting the front coils but it still sits the same, just lower.
mine is the passenger coil spring. i jacked it up just a bit just to see n yep, it leveled it out. i bought some of them rubber spring spacer things, but couldnt get them wedged in there so im living with mine for now. prolly cut some dually coils down and see if that works. if i can ever find one at my pickapart. they only change out their cars seems yearly
