Looking to finish up the engine compartment on my 68 CST SWB to original.
If anybody has a original air cleaner housing or even a photo of one let me know.

If located the air cleaner housing shown in the photo is up for sale, very clean no dents with spacer and breather tube.

I've seen different pics with regular air cleaners (no vacuum on it and longer skinny snout) and the oil bath kind... not sure which one is 100% correct though.

The OEM air cleaner on my 68 GMC 327 4V (bought new by my father) is different from those shown in both pictures in this thread. The first photo is a later model, while the second photo appears to be an automotive unit (In any event, it looks identical to the air cleaner on the 64 Impala SS with 327/300 (AFB) that I once owned.).

oil bath was an option... i have one on my 68 c30 dump 69K original... it is listed on the spid

I think I have a picture of what you are looking for. I pulled both the air cleaner and intake off a 68 327 Q-jet longbed a few years ago. As far as I know, its the original air cleaner:

The photo of the air cleaner posted by OldGold appears to be identical to the air cleaner on my 68 GMC 327 Qjet.

i am looking at a 68 cst lwb with factory 327 4 barrel. the air cleaner is laying inside the cab . best i remember it looks alot like the 1 oldgold70c10 posted a pic. of. but this 1 looked like it may have had a chrome lid/top that has been painted black it says 327 250 horse power turbo fire or something like that on it. if i get it i will let you know.
