Radio in glove box

I would like to keep my factory stereo. But put a aftermarket one in the glove box. Is there anyone out there that makes a glove box insert that replaces the current liner or something like it to do this I have dne a quick search but didnt come up with anything...

Re: Radio in glove box

I've never seen a specially made insert. I have seen stereo systems mounted into the glove box though, I don't see any reason why an original insert couldn't be modified to work.

Re: Radio in glove box

You could probably make a glove box with thin sheet metal using the cardboard one as a template. Or maybe fiberglass...?
