Re: no spark need help?

Pull the coil wire off the distributor and hold the end close to the engine. Have someone crank the motor. If no spark then it's probably your points. That's the only thing you didn't change out. Points that look good can still be bad.

Re: no spark need help?

Points systems are kid stuff. When you get tired of throwing parts at it, try some troubleshooting instead. Here is where you could start.

You will need a multimeter for this, or at least a test light. Take off the distributor cap and rotor. Turn the engine by hand until you can see that the points are open. Now turn the switch on and check for voltage on the coil (-) terminal. This should be the one connected to the distributor if it is wired correctly.

Do you have approximately 12 volts there? If no, post again. If yes, turn the engine until the points are closed and check the voltage. The voltage should be 0 or very close to it. If it isn't, post again.

If the voltage goes to 0, use an insulated tool to open and close the points a few times. Do you see a small spark at the points? If no, post again. If yes take the coil wire out of the cap and hold it about 1/4" from the engine while you open and close the points again. Can you see and hear a spark jump? If no, post again. If yes, try the same thing while a helper cranks the engine. If you have a spark now, your coil, points, and condenser are good. If no spark, post again.
