not sure if my tcase was changed from full time to part time 4x4,some kinda kit for this?
what i read is: if the front has man hubs,may have been converted? seems like i need to play in the sand or snow to find out any other way? also the support bar is gone MIA from the bell housing to the transfer case guess someone forgot to put it back?guess i should use the one from the burb

One way to know if the truck hasn’t been converted is by the fact the truck will not move if the hubs are Unlocked. At least that is the way my ’78 K10 was when I first got it. It did not have the part time kit but did have lockouts. It would not move until the hubs were locked in.
The 205’s didn’t use a support rod like the newer aluminum cases did. The bosses in the 205 are old left over castings from when they did use a small bracket that attached to the frame on earlier trucks. I think ’69-’72. Eventually, GM quit using the side bracket as it was not needed on the 205.

Well…… yes, no, sorta, kinda, not really??
Both split power and both have Neutral and low range but that I about where the commonalities end. Operationally, they both work basically the same if a 203 has a part time kit.
