Keeping manual brakes
Is there anyway that i can keep the manual brakes on my 68 when i do a 6 lug disc conversion on the front??

just dont use a power brake booster and you dont have power brakes

Just make sure that you get a manual MC. The way to tell is the depth of the pushrod seat in the piston. Some PB cylinders have a seat that is too shallow for a manual pushrod and it can fall out of the piston when the pedal is all the way up.

well my truck is already manual brakes! so will i need a master cyl from a truck that has disc/drum? how about the proportioning valve?

Yes you will need a disc/drum prop valve and a disc/drum manual MC.
Here is a disc/drum manual MC from O'Reilly. There are cheaper remans, but this is a new Wagner MC. I specified a 1971 C-10 with manual brakes since all 1071 C10s had disc/drum setup. http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...1292&ppt=C0066
