Are inner fenders from an 81-87 truck interchangeable with a 73-80 truck?

More specifically 85 to 77. I need to know before I go buy one. Thanks

LMC Catalog lists them as separate part numbers, so there must be a difference, but I'm not sure. http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cc/full.aspx?Page=25

If you haven't bought an 85 yet why not just buy a 77?
