Longbed to Shortbed 59
How much do you have to cut from the front and rear to make a longbed to a shortbed? Please post pictures if possible. THANX!!

Depends on if you have a fleet or step side. 9.25" in front of back wheels and 9.75" behind the rear wheels for my step side. In '57 to '59, the step side long beds were 97", the fleet side long beds were 98". '54 to '57 the longbed stepsides were 89". Thats the info that I got from the front of the LMC catalog. I personnally took the 9 1/4" out of the front and 9 3/4" out of the rear.
