Working the numbers
Recently mentioned about refreshing my engine and update the compartment with maybe a carb, intake manifold and GM dress-up kit. Toss in some already dirty elbows and it's had at least a slow start.
Tonight while searching for how to keep this in the budget I came across that Advanced Auto Parts apparently just started a 2 week campaign of 20% off on on-line purchases over $100 with free shipping beginning today through the 15th. Thought I'd mention it here if someone is looking at prices as I am inside a budget. They don't show the carb (edelbrock 1406) on-line with a discount but the manifold (edelbrock 2101) and Proform's grey dress kit I'm pondering, even with Autozone's price before discounts, beats Jegs this time to take notice. Still working the numbers, watching ebay and doing a parts list to see if this idea can stay close to budget. Apparently have a couple of weeks to figure it out before this campaign closes. Wonder if there will be Christmas sales? It's not that far off!  Mark
