Its a different color its from the 2000-2001 Chevy truck line, its called Lt Autumnwood Gold-it looks alot better in person than in picture, has a nice metallic than the sun brings out real nice. The lighting wasnt real good when i took pic,ill get some better as soon as i get her home.hes going to cut and buff it yet,and i thought it looked nice as is,but needs to get out some imperfections in the clear, and some dust,he does it in his garage.its done in Sherwin Williams base coat clear/coat paint.

Question

Hey. Looking good. You wouldn't be doing the halfcab conversion on it would you? I've seriously considered it for my 85 but would like to see some up close pics of one installed. Boog.

Thumbs up

Oh absolutely! I found a company in Minnesota that makes one. Creative Products of Minnesota. I think their web addy is www.creproonline.com if I'm not mistaken. Their kit bolts on using the factory mounting holes for the full top. The top half is fiberglass with a glass installed(slider) and the bottom half ( the bulkhead ) is steel. And the best thing about this conversion is it can be put back to the full top in a matter of minutes. Also, there are a few companies selling the soft top backs. While these conversions aren't for everybody, I like the different look of the truck with the half cab, especially on the 4wd with a lift kit and tires. Looks like a big 'ol Tonka toy. Oh, along with the cab panels they offer a hard toneau cover to go with it. Check out their site. I hope I have the addy right. Let me know what you think. Boog.
