Bolt Question.

I know this sounds kinda dumb, but i really cant find the answer.

There are these special head bolts on the floor of my truck, they hold the center panel over the transmission on, and they hold the blower motor to the kickpanel area.

can someone tell me what type of drive these are? i need to get a socket that can fit them.

that pic is very large, but there are other pics here:

Re: Bolt Question.

Classic Parts of America sells a set of clutch head screwdrivers $19.95, I have yet to find any sockets or bits. Maybe someone else knows where to get them.

i just found some on ebay.. and snap-on sells some.

i have not found them online at:

Sears ( craftsman )
Northern Tool
Harbor Freight
Tractor Supply (strange as apparently they're used on tractors)

after poking around a bit more, i decided to just get the ebay ones. id like to have them at my door before the weekend, so i figured i should order them ASAP.

this is the auction i got them from

Re: Bolt Question.

I think you can still find them in the Sears catalog too. One of those XX piece driver bit kits in a plastic box that I got at Ace did have them though plus a lot of other handy bits.

Re: Bolt Question.

I saw them at Harbor Freight recently. They come as part of a set of bits for $10. This was after I had paid $17 for what appears to be the same set.

Re: Bolt Question.

I've used normal flat blades that fit in side them with out much problem but then I'm too damn tight to go buy the right tool.
