Hotwheel customizers , I have ????'s
I am going to start playing around with customizing Hotwheels and other diecast cars and trucks. My questions are .....
How do you strip the paint ? Should I just use paint stripper or are there other methods ? Is it easier to separate the body from the chassis ? Anyone use an air eraser ? I just got a basic airbrush kit , any suggestions on paint ? I welcome all suggestions/tips on customizing these cars/trucks. Thanks Dan Link to air eraser........ http://www.dickblick.com/zz250/06/pr...m=0&ig_id=1542 I have found another site where this is cheaper but this is a better pic.

Striping paint
I have been using brake cleaner, or carb. cleaner. They both work ok, I prefer the brake cleaner though.I have done a few in the last couple of months so check them out in my other posts.

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs. |
