Must resist......must resist.....must

Good way to get myself shot would be to sneak this into the back yard.
Not that I didn't think long and hard about it....LOL

Buy it and just remember its easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Buy it! I totally agree with the forgiveness vs permission quote, I use that one all the time. Hell, my wife doesn't even know I have a racecar!

Re: Must resist......must resist.....must

Just get it in the back yard, toss some Christmas lights on it, a fake reindeer or two in the front and say Santa must have broken down and left it for you to fix before Christmas Eve.

It is worth more than $200 in parts!

Maybe you could bring it home one piece at a time. I've been doing that lately with new/used parts to upgrade the C-30. So far, the wife is only confused and not concerned. It's when an entire truck arrives she tends to ask questions.

Re: Must resist......must resist.....must

my wife had a good idea.... buy it and have one of those big red bows put on it like they do the Lexus trucks around the holiday season... my twist on it is make a big deal out of it and thank her for buying it for you!! you act all excited and she wont even try to deny she did it and youll wind up with the truck lol (the wife said tell her santa brought it for you)

Re: Must resist......must resist.....must

Hard not buy that. Its worth 10 times that in parts. Even if you scrapped most of it. I would show up there with a new hub some tools and put it back together and drive it home.

Re: Must resist......must resist.....must

If your buying it to build, you might get some heat. If your buying it to part out, I can save you some grief. Find a buyer that needs some of the parts. Sell the parts in advance letting the buyer know the deal is pending. Get the truck, pass the parts to the buyer, and show Momma how much money you made "before" you even brought it home...

My wife must be awesome. I can bring just about anything home as long as the bills get paid and she doesn't care. Well.... okay, I can't bring any other women home, but besides that....
