Re: Cool looking panel
Well you could try a search on the name on the side, hard to read but maybe Plains meat company, hard to read much else there might be a city listed on the bottom??
looks to be a southwest state , maybe Lubbock TX?? I copied the photo and tried to blow it up but I cannot read it very well. Well a quick search did bring up a Plains meat in lubbock TX someone needs to buy that bad boy up!!! Last edited by GMR-PERFORMANCE; 12-10-2010 at 12:26 PM. |

Re: Cool looking panel
yeah it looks like Lubbock, Texas. After looking closer at the pics, I noticed a stepside there as well. My guess is whoever owns them has a plan to fix them up someday.

Re: Cool looking panel
the exif data on the photo says it was taken 9/12/2006. Also says it was taken at 12:29 am so don't know how reliable that information is

Re: Cool looking panel
Plain's Meat Company is apparently still in business in Lubbock Texas. You can look up the street view of their business building on Google Maps, but the building and panel in the photo don't seem to be anywhere near the location. Likely the truck hasn't been in service with them for a long time, but may still reside somewhere local.

Re: Cool looking panel
Maybe that's a picture of a different truck. Could be that had a fleet of 50 identical trucks and now they're scattered all over the area!
