Re: Darn wheels
If you need them in a hurry Summit has grey primered steelies with free shipping. I just got 4 of them. They're $54 each.

Re: Darn wheels
just to clarify - when you say "steelies", I think of the stock steel wheels (i.e. not "rally" wheels"). But I thought only rally wheels came in 15x8. The ones mentioned at Summit are rally replicas, I think. Anyway, I've been having a similar challenge - looking for plain steel (not rally) wheels in 15x7 that will clear disk brakes. Haven't found them yet. Most aftermarket mfgrs seem to have smoothed them or removed the factory gap between the rim and wheel center, etc. Don't want rallies for this particular application.
ANYhoo - if you want 15x8 rallies - I think the Summit suggestion is probably a pretty good one. If you want stock steel wheels that accept a hubcap, then welcome to the bullpen. Let me know if you stumble onto a stash! |

Re: Darn wheels
there might have been a thread about it on here, I remember areotruk63 mentioning that he got some from a military surplus distro., but I think those sources are dried up.
the military k5 blazer did not have ralleys, they were 15X8 steelies that would accept a hubcap.

Re: Darn wheels
Here are a couple of earlier threads regarding the 15x8 stock steel wheels:
