rpm drops or truck stumbles

It just seems that the rpm drops or sumbles when i shift into 4th gear takes awhile to get were it needs to be.What could it be?I just rebuilt the carb. The stock carb. A rochester (7042208) check the dwell and timing all good.Actually the points cap rotor, plugs, plug wires have about 1500-2000 miles on them.I am i over looking somthing? It all started when i got bad gas thats when i clean the carb and rebuilt it.And the truck hasn't been the same sence then.

Re: rpm drops or truck stumbles

fuel filter? maybe at a higher rpm there's enough of a blockage to lessen the flow...
