Short or long Water Pump?
Getting ready to order my 502...should I go with short or long water pump? How does this affect clearance between motor and radiator?

Use the short one(it is alum.). This way all brackets from a BB that came in our trucks fits. This is what I used in mine. 502/502 comes with the alum short--502HO comes with the long. I swapped with a guy that needed a long. he he

Thanks Jhow,
I am ordering all new brackets and pulley's from March so I will match it up with them...also ordering a becool system with electric fans....shouldn't be any clearance problems... I have had two BB 72's but never looked to see if they came with short or long wp's....which did they come with?
