Question about grill and headlight mount
The PO had already removed the grill and headlights before I got the truck so I haven’t seen one put together. I will be replacing the grill that came with the truck with a new chrome one, the grill that came with the truck has the headlight mounts riveted on it, but in the photos in the LMC catalog the grills do not have light mounts attached. Do I need to keep the old mounts to attach to the new grill? If anyone has a drawing of have the headlights and grill are installed I would be grateful.
Thanks |

Re: Question about grill and headlight mount
I picked up a used, painted GMC grille on ebay last year and when it arrived it was only the grille shell. I ground down the rivets from the old grille and put the old headlight buckets in with nuts and bolts. You will likely have to do the same. I would not toss out any parts until after the project is done.

Re: Question about grill and headlight mount
Jeez it's been so long since I've taken my grill off that I forgot it went together like that! Haha good info/pics!
