07 Yukon seats install

Worked on installing the seats this weekend In my 85 burb the seats are out of a 2007 Yukon I'm using all three rows got 4 captains and the split bench. First row went in fairly simple just had to drill new mounting holes and will need to fab up a spacer for the right front mounting hole. The second row of captains is a little more trickier, had to hack off about 4 inches or so from the rear of the bracket so I will have to drill new mounting holes also they will not sit flat in the rear so I will also need spacers for them. The third row will have to have custom mounting brackets made I will post pics of them when I get them made. Won't let me post pics from my phone so I will post them later. If anyone else is doing this and has any questions or advice for me fell free to drop a line.

Re: 07 Yukon seats install

shot in the dark but you wouldn't happen to know if the mounting bracket on your 07 yukon seats are the same as the mounting brackets on the 01?-06 tahoe seats would you... integrated seat belt with inboard arm rests and manual lumbar support? I just got a pair of buckets for my 89 suburban... like your install, do you have a more detailed thread on them?

Re: 07 Yukon seats install

I don't know about the rear seat, but the fronts do fit from an 02 to a K5. I put front seats from a 01 silverado to my 75. I just had to make some adapter brackets out of 1/4" flat stock to bolt them in. I used grade 8 hardware as the seat is what is holding you in with the integral seat belt. If your floor is rusty and swiss cheese like, DON'T put seats like this in until you fix the floors.
