2wd and 4wd header differences
Hey guys..Long time no talk or post..Been a RUFF year with the economy..Anyways does anyone know what the differences are between 2wd headers and 4wd headers for my 73 Chevy stepside 4x4?...Thx in advance!!

Okay then..first time I have ever posted and not received a response..Thanx guys..I will just stick to buying parts then..Obviously I asked a stupid question.

I know the exhaust is different on the passenger side because it makes a U around the transfer case. Not sure if the headers are any different. Look at Summitt's website and see if there are different part numbers.

buy the headers that fit what you got, and not take a chance, or find the part number and make sure it fits.
I say this because we had some dynomax blackjack headers bought for a 76 2wd stick shift, and they fit a 86 k10 4xd4 auto perfectly. The exhaust had to be made to work but almost anytime you go from manifolds to headers that is always an issue.
