Pinewood Derby C-10!
Thought I would share a few pics of mine and my sons latest creations. I couldn't resist a stepside c-10 this year. Complete with chrome bumper! Races are tomorrow and I just got done with the final touches. Wish us luck!

Re: Pinewood Derby C-10!
Good luck!!! I remember making and racing those and never won one until we made a 70 duster(my dad had one when he was younger and never lost a race with it)and had my great grandfathers racing number on it from when he raced sprint cars and lawn mowers, i ended up winning my first race with that car and still have it today and now thats my racing number. Awesome memories!!!

Re: Pinewood Derby C-10!
That truck is the coolest pinewood derby car ever, wish I had thought of it in 1975! Although I wouldnt have been able to pull it off with my woodworking skills at the time.

Re: Pinewood Derby C-10!
Cool. It must be a Cheyenne or CST since it has woodgrain.

Re: Pinewood Derby C-10!
Just got back from the race! Man, it was alot of fun. Over 60 cars entered. The C-10 won 2nd place in the Leaders catagory and my sons racer took 1st place in the Wolves division- really cool!

Re: Pinewood Derby C-10!
AWESOME!! you guys do your races early! Ours are not until April. Last year we let the siblings race with the boys at the pack meeting. Our two girls had trucks too. So much fun!
Great job on them all and best of luck |

Re: Pinewood Derby C-10!
My son and I made a '53 Chevy pickup one year ('02 I think). I had as much fun making PW cars as having him help me work on the truck. He's 18 now and the passion has been instilled in him......

Re: Pinewood Derby C-10!
Looks really cool.
My boys did Cub Cars 2 years ago and then the local troop took a year off. I am now a Scout Leader and we are doing Scout Trucks. Has anyone done Scout Trucks?
