Tachometer Question
The attached pictures are of a tach that I have. I also have a matching vaccum guage. I'm pretty sure there out of a 60's Chevy truck. I believe it will work in my 65 trucks dash panel. I also need to know how it has to be wired. Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Tachometer Question
nvr2fst, i attached a pic of my 66 factory tach for ref. yours doesn't look like a 60's chev truck tach to me (at least it's not a 64-66 dash tach anyway - not sure about 60-63) which is a completely round gauge with just a dash plate cover that makes it look "un-round". Another giveaway is the 7000 rpm scale - most trucks would have had a lower rpm scale than that. Caveat all that with I'm just guessing here - I do not know for sure. But I did want to provide you with the ref pic. Having said all that, yours would still make a great custom touch if it happens to fit any of the openings in the dash or of you make a custom dash, etc.

Re: Tachometer Question
This is a air gauge cluster from a 60-63 big truck. Does your air gauge look similiar?

Re: Tachometer Question
The tach in the first picture appears to be from a 62-66 Pontiac. Here's a current eBay listing:
