Cheapest cowl hood
looking for opinions on where to get the best deal on 4" cowl hood for my 85 c10, steel or fiberglass depending on the hood

over $500 on summit for a harwood, check ebay they are the cheapest. maybe unlimited products or us body source. Also vfn fiberglass and glastek I think make em, not sure about on these trucks but it's options.
good choice BTW, everybody and their entire family has the 2 inch I hate em, sick of seeing them 4 inch, love em.

IMO ... I'd be looking more at the steel units. What about Goodmark? They sometimes have a scratch & dent sale ...

nothing wrong with a glass one though. I've had a 4 inch harwood show series on the 85 mcss for over 4 years now, no cracks no paint coming off, nothing still sits as flat as it ever did.

i just bought a steel 2" one from http://www.carhoods.com/ for $389 +$100 to ship it there haveing a overstock sale right now there partners with with goodmark the only complant i have is there's a die mark on the back of the hood where it rolls around to crimp the under skin of the hood on but i think i can fix it pretty easly. they also sell whole fiberglass cabs/beds and blazer bodys
