salvage yard pics part 2
Hello everyone! I returned to CTC's Auto Ranch north of Denton, Texas and got a couple of items and took some more photos.
Enjoy! Keith |

Re: salvage yard pics part 2
Looks like a neat place to go search. That would be my dream to have a salvage yard, but that will never happen since there isn't many old trucks and cars around anymore. Everything around here is getting crushed. Thanks for the pics!!!!!

Re: salvage yard pics part 2
I mainly went to get another bench seat for my truck. I currently have an 88-97? chevy seat. It's ok, however I will soon focus on the interior of my 68. I'm wanting to recover the bench as part of the redo.
This bench came out of a 1968 GMC. Keith |

Re: salvage yard pics part 2
I took more pics and will post more at a later time. I really didn't have but 15 minutes or so to take the photos that I did take. The owners tell me they have 3,000 to 4,000 cars and trucks. Many of them are from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. They have some from the 1930s and 1940s as well. The really cool thing about this yard is they do not crush anything.
I will go on another day when I am off from work and the weather is fairly nice. I have allways wanted to just ramble on around and take some artsy type of photos. Keith |

Re: salvage yard pics part 2
What a strange yard, the vehicles all seem to have intact glass. One of the first criteria arounf here is to bust any good glass upon arrival, i mean really who would want something like that anyway. Cool yard, stuff like that is a quickly disappearing animal in this neck of the woods.

Re: salvage yard pics part 2
^^^ What he said. The big 427 emblems and grilles in the side of the hood are pretty rare if they aren't beat. Do me a favor and check out the bus next to the box truck... if it has the same front end as the box truck, I want the gauges out of it!!! Pics please if you go back
Also, look for heater deletes too - they look like my avatar pic!
