Summit Chrome Steering Column/LMC Chrome Steering Wheel Question
Ok, finally got around to stalling my Summit steering column and LMC Chrome steering wheel.....first off, Im REALLY happy with the quality/appearance! I just need to figure this out now.
No Instructions in box #1 Question, I assume this is the horn wire, but how the heck does it attach. End on the left go to the horn button but what about the other end with spring? There's that brass colored button there in the column but I dont just understand how it attaches. #2 What is this for? #3 Im assuming this goes here..?? I know it's sticking way to far into the cab, I just had it zip tied in to hook it up. Which brings me to another question.... ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET THAT 1/2 CIRCLE STRAP THAT GOES UNDER THE STEERING COLUMN TO HOLD IT IN PLACE? I LOST MINE AND DONT SEE IT IN LMC MAGAZINE. |

I'll check when I get home, but in the LMC catalog on page 98, item 17.. is that what you are looking for? |

Re: Summit Chrome Steering Column/LMC Chrome Steering Wheel Question
I guess now that I see that, I need that also...
but I'm really needing the strap with bolt holes in the tabs that hold the steering column up tight. Kind a dark picture but It goes where my zip ties are right now. I have those zip ties going through the holes that bolt this strap up. Last edited by DrtyJack75; 01-17-2011 at 05:12 PM. |
