Customizing Mirrors

I have a 2007 GMC Sierra 2500HD with extending mirrors that are the factory black. I would like to replace them with either painted (white) or chrome mirrors for a better look. Is there anyone out there that sells painted or chrome replacements? Or do you just paint the ones on it to match the truck color and what do you do about painting the shaft that shows when you extend them(I would think the sliding would scrape any paint off)? I am looking for a custom look, not a it just got stuck on look.

Any suggestions or ideas?

Thanks
Larry

Re: Customizing Mirrors

I have the TTT-Mirrors on my Sierra.

Paintable covers and chrome covers are optional. Very nice mirror especially if you tow.
