Anyone bolt in notch?

Has anyone done a bolt in c-notch on a 72 2wd blazer? If so, which brand did you use? any issues with the rear frame horns?

Re: Anyone bolt in notch?

Never done it, but I believe any of the 67-72 truck bolt in ones would work.

I used the cpp version. It bolted in with no issues.

Re: Anyone bolt in notch?

I mine a few weeks ago, nothing too bad except for stubborn rivets. I used CPP's, and as long as you have a true 2wd frame with coils, it should bolt in like any other truck. I liked CPP's since it' referenced off exisiting holes to make the cuts easier to determine where they should be.

I didn't take any pics of it, but I used this link from Rokcrln as a guide: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=195566

OG2wdblaze: I had a 4/6 drop on mine without a notch and I only bottomed out a few times. The pic is with 22's and about a 31" tire. I'm still in the middle of bagging it, and with a 2" block, bags and c-notch, the rear tucks tires with no air.

I think you're at about stock height. My avatar is the sake 4/6 drop, but with shorter tires. The 22's raised it up some.
