Another 2wd to 4wd question
I'm in the process of putting together a 70 K10 with a 6.5T diesel, 5 speed, and a divorced 205. I'm also doing 52" springs in the front and a shackle flip in the rear. The problem, is the more I tear into this truck, the more damage I find. The frame has got a few kinks in it, and the PO cut off the front frame horns and welded on this god awful abomination of a bumper. I have another frame thats in good shape, but its a 2wd with rear coils. I've been reading, and searching the board for 2 days now, and I think what i'm finding is that the frames are pretty much the same, you just need the brackets, crossmembers, and spring hangars to make it a 4wd. Is that right? I'm not asking for opinions on my choice in motors,or suspention modifications, just if the frame rails are close enough. sorry to be so curt, but anytime I mention 6.5T it starts an argument.

Re: Another 2wd to 4wd question
Yes, the frames are the same. Everything you mentioned needs to be transferred over.

Re: Another 2wd to 4wd question
Once you have the frames side by side you will be able to see the difference.
