I get to swap my motor in 11 hours and 56 mins. So excited i think i may explode. Hope to have running tomarrow. Will post pics......

I hope they do too. I already have my carb and fuel system in. The only problem i can see is the headers. But a member on here has them on one. The only thing i have to do to the motor is adjust rockers, install flywheel and hub addapter, and the balancer bolt. Then just 4 wires to msd box and alt wires and starter wires. Hoping for smooth install.

This is the collector i am using on headers.....8 buck a set. Cheaper then the crappy 3 bolt kind that blow gaskets every time you turn left, or stop, or go, or turn right. Well not that much but a hole lot....

Engine is in and running. All i have left is to clean up wiring and hook exhaust up. Tell i can get the right set of headers that will fit. Here is shot clip of it alive sorry for bad video..

Thanks. Motor also starts with tiny flick of key. It is amazing. Oil psi flings over to 45 at idle in no time at all.

what manifold/headers did you settle on?

I got one manifold that the engine came with wich is a 03 gmc youkon and one form a 99-03 5.3 truck. Dont remember the exact year. The f body headers do NOT fit a 4x4. A 2wd they may but deff not 4x4.
