lmc truck door seal fit problem

has anyone ever had trouble with lmc truck door seals making the doors stick out after glued in ? after i glued my new door seals in my doors stick out about a 1inch even with my door latch assembly all the back.. my doors fit perfect with out the seals guled in but like crap with them in.... any sugestions ? should i get new ones from some where else or try to find some origionals that r in good condition ? thanks

had the same probelm, theres something about the rubber they use, try a set of softseal door rubbers, but also when you put them in keep the doors shut for a couple of days and in the sun. see if that works , the soft seal rubbers are about $69 double what you paid at lmc, but i think that will solve your probelm

thanks for the reply ! ive had my doors strapped for 3 months while ive been at college and it hasnt seemed to change these lmc truck seals one bit lol.... so where can i buy a set of softseal door rubbers at ?

it's gonna help if the temp outside is warm, with you being in nebraska i don't think it has been warm for awhile, but do what softseal recommends

also consider the ones GMC pauls's sells. They are a press on style...not glue in.

Yes the press on type from GMC pauls r nice if you don't mind the upper front corner not covering all the way.
