Re: Travel Trailer For the guys!

The style reminds me of a great tow vehicle for it.How about a 58 or so Mercury marauder wagon.

It's cool that it was so well kept and restored. The fact that the history is complete really makes it.

Awesome design and I would love to own it, but.....Looks like those NASA boys didn't know much about aerodynamics in the 60's. It appears to be going backwards.

Re: Travel Trailer For the guys!

Thinking what this would look like behind a 1960 Cadillac, custom painted to match the car...and somehow extend some rear Caddy tail-light fins on it. Of course I think too much sometimes. But I "see" it towed with a Cadillac.

Any photoshop wizards?

Well, they do say the rear of a bullet's shape is just as important in flight as the front.

Either way, very cool trailer!

Re: Travel Trailer For the guys!

Just in case you were wondering..... I asked the seller what his reserve price was. Here is his answer:

My last offer of 125K a few months ago fell thru so I decided to put a reserve of at least 100K.
My price is negotiable depending on the buyer and future of the trailer.

Yea it is cool.

But if he actually got offered that it become's a "this is where two fool's met" situation.

One a fool for offering, the owner a fool for not taking it.

Re: Travel Trailer For the guys!

oldwagon, Yeah it may look good behind your '57 but you'd have to store it at my place wouldn't ya' ? Then I could use it as payment for storage fees. Cool looking rig. Call me when you can.
